A few days ago it became clear that Russia will be represented at Eurovision by Julia Samoilova, a girl who does not allow disability to prevent her and to realize her dreams.

The 27-year-old singer is in a wheelchair-bound since childhood, because due to spinal muscular atrophy she has lost the ability to move. In 2013, Julia took second place in the show “Factor A” Russian version of “The X Factor”, and in 2014 she participated in the opening ceremony of the Winter Paralympics.

This year, Samoilova will represent her country in the the Eurovision with the song “Flame Is Burning” in the second final night on May 11 in Kiev.
