The latest research conducted by Dr. Andrea Petersen for “Wall Street Journal”, reveals that sharing a bed with your partner is beneficial for your health. Sleep with the person you want to reduce the level of cortisol, a hormone that is a major cause of stress and feelings of anxiety and depression.

This interesting relationship between sleep and your partner and sleep quality, thereby improving health and confirms and Wendy M. TROX, a professor of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, which declares:

“The benefits of sleeping with your partner are not only physically but they are also mentally. Sleeping together lowers cytokines, chemicals involved in the various inflammations in the body, and in their place increases the secretion of oxytocin, known as the love hormone, which is known to reduce stress and anxiety. ”

Research has shown that people who are alone are more difficult to fall asleep and are more likely to develop depression.
