Oprah Winfrey is a person who shaped the “talk show” format and will forever remain the favorite television face of millions of people.

Her hard work and her extraordinary social skills led her to a situation where many people believed in what she would say, even if they disagreed with her.

It is also known for sharing often advice on a variety of topics, and most for those related to self-esteem and the desire to live a happier and more harmonious life.

She created five simple rules that she daily adheres to, which always have a positive effect on her life.

The key is in the balance: I can eat everything I want, but I do not have to eat everything I want, at the same time. It’s the whole philosophy of life, you can get everything, but not immediately,  said Oprah.

Withdrawal from the set norms of beauty: “The days when I was obsessed with being too weak, passed long ago, and the days in which I wanted to achieve a certain standard when it comes to physical appearance. Now, I’m the most beautiful, when I’m feeling good ”

Take time for yourself: “I always find a way to be alone with myself at least once a day. If we are talking about the ideal scenario, it looks like this – 20 minutes for me in the morning, then another 20 minutes in the evening. ”

Morning with gratitude: “I never curl the alarm, I do not believe in it and do not bother me. Instead, I wake up about six o’clock, because my dogs are accustomed to such an order. ” My first thought about awakening every day is: I’m alive. Thank you! ”

Life in the present: “Inhale, exhale and recall that this moment is the only one you have and the only one you know.”

Oprah Winfrey reminded us of something that most of us, however importantly, most often forget about.
