Fashion Week in New York: Carolina Herrera Spring / Summer 2018!

Carolina Herrera’s collection for the spring / summer season 2018 is presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York.

Carolina Herrera made it clear she does not create clothes inspired by artwork: “I will not create a dress that is based on a painting, but only on colors. I have many young clients, I have small daughters and I know what they want, “concluded Herrera.

We really saw many colors – shades of lavender, saffron, Sicilian orange, purple and blue. The clothing is made of chiffon, cotton and denim, and is perfect for the long summer weekends in Miami.

The presented collection for the summer season is extremely feminine. “I presented wide shoulders, shoes and skirts created to allow for a lot of movement,” the designer described her collection. Otherwise, the shoes for the show were created in collaboration with Manolo Blanic.
