Charming, modest and with a big heart: Meet the youngest queen of the world!

Jetsun Pema Wangchuck is currently the youngest queen in the world. Bhutan’s Wife, Jigme Khesar, Namgyel Wangchuk, stood on the throne in 2011 when he was only 21 years old.

Jetsun won the hearts of the people of Bhutan with modesty, good heart, charm and beauty. The 27-year-old queen is continually involved in humanitarian activities and advocates the preservation of the environment.

Jetsun and Jigme are often called “Kate and William of the Himalayas”, so their meeting with Duchess Catherine and Prince William attracted attention worldwide.

“I waited a long time to get married. But it does not matter when you get married, as long as you do it with the right person. I’m sure I got married to the right person,”said the king for his beloved.

Before sitting on the throne, Jetsun studied in London. She and her husband are great lovers of art. “She is a wonderful human being, she is intelligent. Jetsun and I have a great thing in common: love and passion for identity, “said King Jigme.
