Staples Center in Los Angeles last night was the location where wore gathered the biggest stars of the music industry. The 59th consecutive award ceremony of “Grammy” were awarded the best musicians of the past year, and guests were entertained by host James Cordell.
Adele dominated at the list of winners with five Grammy statuettes, including Best Album and Best vokelen album “25”. The hit of the 28-year-old pop star “Hello” won the most coveted categories of Song of the Year and Record of the Year and it has brought Adele award for best solo pop performance.
The late musician David Bowie posthumously won five awards for “Blackstar”, including for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Album. Best rock album was chosen “Tell Me I’m Pretty” band Cage the Elephant.
Beyonce was nominated in nine categories, but only managed to triumph in two categories – Best Music Video for “Formation” and modern urban album for “Lemonade”.
In the categories designed for rap music was dominated by Drake and Chance the Rapper, appropriating two awards. Best rap song was named “Hotline Bling” by Drake, and best rap album was named “Coloring Book” of the Chance the Rapper.
